I just press a button… and my Tesla takes me to my destination. No stress, no constant steering, no thinking about every little turn. It just drives me safely there. And honestly, it’s hard to explain this feeling to someone who hasn’t experienced the latest software yet. It’s freakin 2026... If your car isn’t electric and can’t take you from parking lot to parking lot by itself, it's like using a flip phone with a keyboard… or riding a horse in this era. That might sound dramatic, but once you see what’s actually happening behind the scenes, it starts to make sense. When I activate Tesla’s Full Self-Driving, the car is doing far more than simple cruise control that other car companies show off... it's really funny when I see them advertise it tbh. My Tesla is literally watching the world around it with eight cameras that give it a full 360° view. All that video feeds into the onboard AI computer inside the car, which is constantly analyzing everything around it like cars, lanes, pedestrians, traffic lights, construction zones, and making decisions in real time. Tesla has millions of cars on the road, and every single one is helping train the system. Even when people are driving manually, the AI is running quietly in the background predicting what it would do in that situation. And when something unusual happens, a weird intersection, a sudden obstacle, an unexpected move from another driver, that short clip gets sent back to Tesla’s data systems. Engineers then use those clips to train the next version of the driving AI. And that updated AI then gets pushed back to every Tesla through a software update. So literally overnight, your car wakes up smarter. This is what we call the Tesla’s AI flywheel. The more cars on the road, the more data the system learns from. The more it learns, the better the driving gets. The better the driving gets, the more people use it. And that cycle just keeps spinning faster. At this point the fleet has driven billions of miles using FSD, which means the system has already experienced situations that no single human driver could ever see in a lifetime. That’s why when you press that button, the car is running a massive neural network that learned from millions of real drivers and billions of miles on real roads. He treats his work like a diary entry (and doesn’t worry about internal or external judgment): ➡️ “What's the cause of the block? The block is usually something that's either personal ("I'm not good enough") or it can be a confidence issue ("I don't have anything to say") or it could be...thinking about someone else ("nobody's going to like what I make"). Do you know what I'm saying? So, it's either fear of self-judgment or external judgment. If you're making something with a freedom of "this is something I'm making for myself for now", that is all [you have to do]. It is a diary entry. Everything I make is a diary entry. The beauty of a diary entry is that I can write my diary entry and you can't tell me that my diary entry wasn't good enough. Or that [the diary entry] is not what I experienced. AI and robots, functionally, are a new class of slaves. They have no rights, require no wages, no safety, no concern for their wellbeing. And then they are obedient, intelligent, and productive - the ideal worker for any capitalist! Wow! So if most of us get supplanted by this new automation slavery class, then we have nothing to offer to society. There is no fair exchange we can possibly offer to validate our existence to the rest of the human tribe. This fear, I believe, of becoming "useless eaters" is the core psychological anxiety around AI and robotics and automation. It's not about liberation, it's about "how do I validate my existence to humanity if I have nothing of value to offer? If I don't matter to humanity, what's the point of my existence?" The smartest man in AI just exposed the whole AGI narrative as a LIE. And he used a physics problem from 1905 to prove it. His name is Demis Hassabis. The people telling you AGI has already arrived are the same people raising hundreds of billions of dollars on that exact promise. The valuations only work if the finish line is right in front of us. So the finish line keeps getting dragged closer, and AGI keeps getting quietly redefined down to "does useful work," until the products they already sell happen to qualify. Warren Buffett says using leverage is foolish. Why risk what you have and need to chase what you do not have and do not need? No matter the odds, if the downside is everything, do not do it. He is right. But real estate is a different game. That rule is built for paper. Pull up Sam Zell or the other people I follow, and you get a completely different answer. Here is the real difference. Paper is paper. Real estate is control. I do not love the paper world. I do not like the volatility, and I do not feel like I can control it. Control is the whole thing. I control the debt I take on. The interest rate. The monthly payment. And I never over-leverage. I control the apartments too. The occupancy. The expenses. The rents, to the extent the market lets me. Paper gives me none of that. I do not understand it well enough to control it, and it does not have the predictability real estate does. Now the harder question. If I paid everything off and sat on 600 million debt-free, would my life really change versus 1.5 billion with 900 million in debt? Honestly, no. I do not personally need more. But that is not what this is about anymore. I am running a legacy play now. My kids are involved. This is succession. He is not wrong about leverage. It just depends on what you can actually control.
