First she goes along with the Carney story that he was asked to be Finance Minister under Harper "Harper's former director of communications responded to this by saying Carney's not telling the whole story and that Harper in no way supports Carney." Next she says "But we also heard Poilievre doubling down on the need to axe the consumer carbon tax, even though no Liberal leadership candidate supports it going forward." Carney is keeping a Carbon Tax and here is what Poilievre says about it "And after much reflection, I have concluded that the carbon tax will be an even bigger issue in the coming election than we thought." "He said just a few days ago that he doesn't want to "axe the tax."" "Mr. Carney's new and bigger carbon tax will help America take every industrial job from Canada." "They're going on US Media, UK Media, talking about Canada's position in a trade war with the United States." "What do we make of that? That people who don't speak for the government are out speaking for the country?" "But at least the premiers are elected and have a constituency that they represent and are responsible and answerable to." A Liberal Minister is already fighting pipelines — saying no new ones should get built. Parliament has been shut down since December — and the former failed Immigration and Housing — now Justice Minister is talking about working from home. The new Housing Minister who nearly tripled housing costs as Vancouver’s Mayor — is telling everyone the cost of housing is fine. These people are here to do exactly the same thing they did over the last 10 years.
