I’d have to stand next to him and say “I have a cunning plan…”. In fact this line actually appears in a patient’s medical chart. The surgeon, who was a particular favourite of mine, wrote “I have a cunning plan” in her ICU round notes. I was the next RN assigned to the patient and added “Is it a plan so cunning you could stick a tail on it and call it a weasel?”
