🚨🗣️ On Sandro Tonali's move to Manchester United: "Manchester United aren't just signing a midfielder, they're signing a leader. Tonali has the mentality, discipline and personality required to play for a club of this size. He understands the game, he understands responsibility and he makes the players around him better. When you watch him, you see a player who can control the tempo, win duels, organize the midfield and perform under pressure. Those qualities are difficult to find in modern football. It's no surprise that several top clubs were interested in him, but Manchester United moved decisively because they recognized his value. For a manager, having a player like Tonali is a luxury. He gives you balance, intensity and tactical intelligence. If he adapts quickly, he has everything needed to become one of the leaders of this new Manchester United project. This is not just a signing for today. It's a signing for the next five years. A major statement from Manchester United." 🔴👊 {Fabrizio Romano}

🔴 Roy Keane wants Manchester United to sign Lucas Paquetá and Kaishu Sano to completely fix their midfield. 🎯 🗣️ "I don’t even know why Lucas Paquetá isn’t playing for a top-tier European club right now. I know he played for West Ham but this kid supposed to be playing for a top club. Bring him so he can play that position with Bruno Fernandes.” And Kaishu Sano? That kid is strong, and his defensive coverage is top-notch. Did you see that goal he scored? As a defensive midfielder, he was incredible. I honestly think these two can solve Manchester United’s midfield problems. If Carrick gives the green light, these guys are the perfect match for what United needs. If you think Sano’s performance is a one-off, you're wrong go watch his matches for Mainz, he’s been absolutely incredible. Go get these guys and fix the midfield!"

🚨 NEW: Danilo (from Brazil) is a player who has been offered to Manchester United. This is not a negotiation that started from the club’s side. Manu Koné is a player Manchester United have under consideration. The club spoke to the player’s agents and held concrete conversations with them, but United have not yet reached out to Roma. They have not started an official negotiation with Roma or sent an official bid for Koné, as they are still deciding which player they want as a defensive midfielder and what they want to do in midfield overall. The situations with Danilo (offered to United) and Koné (United contacted the agents) differ, and there is still no club-to-club negotiation. United could pursue a different midfielder; the story remains open. Baleba is also a player who has been super keen on joining Manchester United. Already one year ago he wanted to go to the club, but in this case it is up to Manchester United to decide whether they want to return to talks with Brighton or not. [Fabrizio Romano YT]

🚨🎙️ Fabrizio Romano on Manchester United’s summer transfer plans: 🗣️ “Manchester United are working on several deals behind the scenes and the midfield remains the absolute priority. Ederson is currently one of the most advanced discussions. United really appreciate the player and contacts with Atalanta have been ongoing. Another name on the list is Mateus Fernandes. Manchester United have explored the conditions of a potential deal and continue to monitor the situation closely. Alex Scott is also a player admired by people inside the club. There have been inquiries about the cost of a transfer and United are keeping a close eye on his contract situation. For the left-back position, Lewis Hall is among the profiles being considered. Manchester United believe he fits the age profile and style of player they want to build around. The strategy this summer is clear: younger players, high potential, Premier League experience where possible, and players who can grow with the project under Ruben Amorim. The next weeks will be very important because Manchester United want to accelerate their business and avoid another summer of late deals.” 🚨 More to follow. [Fabrizio Romano }

🚨 Rio Ferdinand on why Ederson is not the ideal replacement for Casemiro at Manchester United: 🗣️ “I like Ederson, I really do. He’s energetic, aggressive and can improve Manchester United’s midfield. But if you’re talking about replacing Casemiro, I don’t think he’s the closest profile. Casemiro was a defensive monster at his best. He protected the back four, won duels and controlled danger before it happened. For me, players like Aurélien Tchouaméni and Carlos Baleba are much closer to that role. They naturally think defensively, dominate midfield battles and give the defence protection. Ederson is a very good midfielder, but I see him as a different type of player. If United want the next Casemiro, I’d be looking at Tchouaméni or Baleba before anyone else.” {Sky Sports News }

🔴 Roy Keane urges Manchester United to sign Ayase Ueda 🎙️ Roy Keane speaks on Ayase Ueda and how he impressed for Japan, and I want Manchester United and Carrick to be all over him. 🗣️ “I went and watched the Japan game vs Tunisia and I’m going to tell you I totally enjoyed the game seeing players like Nakamura and a lot of them. But I was more concerned with Ayase Ueda. The kid really impressed me. He strikes the ball so well and it makes me remember Javier Hernández (Chicharito). He can sneak in spaces and he’s so good on the ball.” I want Manchester United and Michael Carrick to be all over this talent. He could work incredibly well alongside Sesko. Would you take Ayase Ueda to Manchester United? 🤔🇯🇵

🚨 Dimitar Berbatov slams Elliot Anderson’s reported £100M valuation amid Manchester United interest ahead of the summer transfer window: 🗣️ “I’ve heard Manchester United are looking at Elliot Anderson and I can understand the interest. He’s energetic, technically good, works hard and has shown real personality in the Premier League. But £100 million? Come on. That price is absolutely crazy. We are talking about a talented young midfielder, not a player who has dominated football for five or six years. This is what is wrong with the modern transfer market. Every time a young English-based player has a good season, the price doubles overnight. I like Anderson, I really do. I think he has the qualities to play for a club like Manchester United. He has intensity, confidence and looks like someone who enjoys responsibility. But there is a huge difference between being a good player and being a £100 million player. Manchester United have made mistakes before by overpaying for potential. If the club believes in him, fine. But paying anything close to £100 million would be madness. For that kind of money, you should be buying one of the best midfielders in world football, not a player who is still proving himself.” {TNT Sports }

Roy Keane has blasted Michael Carrick for always using Patrick Dorgu in an attacking position and has called for Manchester United to make more signings. 🗣️ Roy Keane: “The loss is on Michael. I really don’t understand the starting lineup. Why does he keep playing Patrick Dorgu on the left wing? To be honest, he’s not even a good player not Manchester United standard but I still don’t know why he keeps getting the nod. Look at his defending too. How can he let his man go freely? That defending is just so bad. “Today shows Manchester United are far behind every other top-six team in the Premier League. They clearly need more signings in all positions. The season will be the worst if they don’t.”

🚨 Manchester United sporting director Jason Wilcox has finally revealed why Man United walked away from the deal agreed with Atalanta for midfielder Éderson in July. 🗣️ Jason Wilcox: “Yes, it was no secret that we had struck a deal with Atalanta for Éderson, but there were several factors that made us back out of the deal. It came down to the player and his agent. His agent was asking for too much in personal terms, including a huge signing bonus, which was ridiculous. He also wanted Éderson to be the starting defensive midfielder no matter who else we signed. That was one of the big issues for us because we only wanted to sign him as a squad player and not as a starting holding midfielder, which he and his agent disagreed with. So, we had to call the deal off.” and now Carlos Baleba is due to return around the middle of September, potentially in time for the games against Manchester City or Fulham. He could also miss out on playing for Manchester United until October due to the three-week international break! and Ederson wasn't injured now united is struggling at the midfield, so when will Baleba come and solve that problem.I think United have been bought Ederson share your thoughts on Man United this summer signings so far who is he replacing casemiro 😢

🚨Declan Rice on Bruno Fernandes saying he would have loved to play alongside him at Manchester United: 🎙️ Reporter: “Declan, Bruno Fernandes recently said you’re a player he would have loved to play alongside at Manchester United. What do you make of that?” 🗣️ Declan Rice: “That means a lot because I have huge respect for Bruno. And to be honest, there was a time when it could have happened. “Back in 2020, Manchester United contacted West Ham about signing me, but the deal didn’t go through. They came back again in 2021, but once again nothing happened. 🚨🚨Jamie Carragher says Manchester United are far much behind in terms of ambition among the Big Six. “Manchester United are a shambles of a football club right now. I look at the way they are operating in the transfer market and I just don’t understand it. This is Manchester United — they should be going after the biggest players, the best talent available, but instead they keep walking away from deals because they don’t want to pay the money. “You look at the names they’ve been linked with — Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, Morgan Rogers and other top players — and time after time they seem to step back when the deal becomes difficult. I understand you have to be smart in the market, but there’s a difference between being smart and lacking ambition. “They’ve got Champions League football next season, and this was the moment to show everyone that Manchester United are back. Instead, it feels like they’re more focused on saving money than building a team capable of competing. For a club of this size, that’s a huge concern.”

🚨 Romelu Lukaku on Youri Tielemans joining Manchester United: 🗣️ “When Manchester United’s proposal came in, Youri walked straight over to me because he knew I’d played there. He asked me what I thought. I told him not to think twice. I said, ‘Sign the deal.’ Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world and it’s the kind of club every player dreams of representing at least once in their career. People outside only see the pressure, but they don’t understand what it feels like to wear that shirt. It’s a special football club with an incredible history. I know how much this move means to him. He’s worked for it, he’s earned it and he’s ready for it. His quality has never been in doubt. Youri is one of the smartest midfielders I’ve played with. He’ll bring calmness, creativity and experience to that Manchester United midfield. I’m happy for my friend. I wish him nothing but success. I hope he enjoys every moment because opportunities like this don’t come around often.”
