Royal Mail can't deliver first class letters within two weeks anyway. Disgrace of a service.

Ah, good ol’ privatisation, plowing the way for improved services, efficiencies, and cheaper prices for all.

Royal Mail will not use these savings to improve performance. This reduction will just mean job cuts, more money going into the new foreign owners pocket.

Seeing as we barely see a postman as it is, we’ll never get any mail. I assume they’ll be slashing the prices to reflect the cuts to services? No, of course not. First class prices will become even more ridiculous as people won’t chance a second class stamp any more.

Lucky if I get mail once a week first or second they seem to stock pile it even though post van in street every day and getting articles for the blind and important letters take weeks

My local postie has mentioned that his sorting office priority is to deliver parcels and larger packages and only deliver letters when less busy .. used to get mail daily, now it’s twice a week it seems already (at most)
