The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a Hindu nationalist paramilitary founded in 1925. It has been banned three times by the Indian government — after Gandhi’s assassination, during the Emergency, and after the Babri Masjid demolition. On March 4, 2026, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom recommended the RSS be sanctioned by the US government. Fifty days later, Hudson Institute put the RSS’s General Secretary on a Washington stage. Ram Madhav was there as the co-panelist with a sitting US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Bethany Poulos Morrison. Hudson Institute is a US tax-exempt 501(c)(3), subsidized by the American public. Its Washington offices sit four blocks from the White House. It has been in a formal thirty-month partnership with the India Foundation — led by the son of India’s National Security Adviser, its board including sitting Indian government ministers, its president a member of the RSS National Executive. The Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, and the congressional committees with jurisdiction over foreign influence and tax-exempt organizations have a responsibility to examine this partnership. Last evening, Hon'ble Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman Sh Jagdeep Dhankar said in the House that "since the last 25 years, I have been an 'Eklavya' of the RSS". He then went on to shower praise on the RSS and said that his only "regret" was that he didn't join the RSS earlier. It was an open admission by the Hon'ble VP & Chair that he's a proud member of the RSS. Hon'ble VP & Chairman has the right to be a member of any organization that he pleases. However, 2 days ago, he expunged & removed parts of the speech of Leader of Opposition Kharge ji where he'd criticized the RSS. It is well-documented fact that the RSS is an organization that has been banned in the past for subversive activities. It is a communal organization and also, for the longest time, refused to accept the Constitution of India. Is it fair for the VP of India to be openly praising the RSS while sitting in a chair where he's expected to be neutral? It is extremely concerning and DANGEROUS that criticism of the RSS even by MPs is now being banned under the Modi Govt because the Chairman is a proud member of the RSS which he has openly admitted.

GEN FLYNN: The National Security Strategy the President just signed off on is focused more globally externally than it is internally. — I do think one of the things it falls short on is the ideological stuff that’s going on here in the United States: the media manipulation, the idea of this Marxism and Neo-Marxism ideology that is definitely inside and has infiltrated into the institutions of our government. There’s not enough discussion about how the President of the United States, in this National Security Strategy which should be both foreign and domestic, has to deal with. We have many compromised oversight systems, we have a very complex election system and technologies. People in this country are still going, what the hell is going on? Why do I care about Europe? Why do I care about the Middle East? I need to care about my country right here and whether or not we have a free and fair election. General Mike Flynn

Today, RSS is the largest Neo Nazi group of the world with an estimated 1.5 – 2 million regular participants in its nearly 57,000 shakhas across 36,293 locations nationwide along with an armed dedicated militia of 600,000. It has presence in atleast 39 countries world wide. India is effectively ruled by the RSS. Its political wing, the BJP, and its activist Prime Minister Modi have turned the Indian state into a vehicle for Hindutva expansionism. The most alarming development is the saffronisation of the Indian military. RSS men are not just influencing policy. They are sitting in high command positions within the armed forces. A recent report revealed that sixty two percent of India’s Sainik Schools, the very institutions that groom future officers, are run by RSS affiliates. Today, 38 out of 53 ministers — nearly 75% — hail from the RSS. Infact Narendra Modi and the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, who ordered the Samjhauta Express blasts, have an old affiliation which goes back to 1967, when both were 17. Bhagwat’s father Madhukarrao was mentor of Modi. He stayed with the Bhagwat family during his essential training. Today, RSS is the largest Neo Nazi group of the world with an estimated 1.5 – 2 million regular participants in its nearly 57,000 shakhas across 36,293 locations nationwide along with an armed dedicated militia of 600,000. It has presence in atleast 39 countries world wide. India is effectively ruled by the RSS. Its political wing, the BJP, and its activist Prime Minister Modi have turned the Indian state into a vehicle for Hindutva expansionism. The most alarming development is the saffronisation of the Indian military. RSS men are not just influencing policy. They are sitting in high command positions within the armed forces. A recent report revealed that sixty two percent of India’s Sainik Schools, the very institutions that groom future officers, are run by RSS affiliates.
