PSA Resident Evil RE Requiem Switch 2 update 1.1.1 caused BIG performance issues. Frame Skips/Stutter/Jitter even with no combat (watch edge of screen). It was NOT like this before. I reinstalled with no change. Others also reported worse performance. Please fix or revert ASAP.

Resident Evil Requiem on PC is on another level. 4K output with path tracing, 120 fps thanks to 2x frame generation, and all of this running in performance mode. Moments like this remind me exactly why getting a PC was worth it. 🔥

#CONTROLResonant is one of the best use cases for DLSS Ray Reconstruction. RR in this game doesn't just improve the RT effects and provide better image quality in most cases (It can blur out and remove some texture detail on a few surfaces), It also delivers similar or even better performance compared to the default denoisers. However, this mainly applies to newer RTX 40 and 50 series GPUs. On older RTX cards, the new DLSS 4.5 RR model has a much higher overhead and comes with a heavy performance penalty.

More Ray Tracing vs Path Tracing in #PRAGMATA In indoor scenes, the jump from RT to PT isn’t as big as it is outdoors. It generally feels like Capcom focused more on these areas, with improved ambient shading and more shadow casting lights even without RT or PT.

I tested out Cyberpunk 2077 Path Tracing turned on with RX 9070 XT now that FSR Redstone is out. By using the new FSR Redstone and FSR ML Based Frame-Gen, the game reaches up to 130FPS in 1440p with FSR set to Performance Mode. The performance gains are not that much higher compared to the previous versions of FSR but the image quality got a huge upgrade, especially when using Frame-Gen. This ML based Frame Gen is much better than the previous version as it gets rid of most artifacts and ghosting caused by the previous version. If for some reason you always wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing turned on on an AMD GPU, now you can enjoy a playable experience with 100+ FPS on an RX 9070 XT. I still don't recommend it though as the frame pacing and input lag still feels off for me, I'd just rather play this without Frame Gen and Path Tracing. I'm going to test out Black Myth: Wukong next

Joe Rogan and Rick Doblin nailed a key difference in drinking culture. Kids in Italy often have a glass of wine with dinner from a young age, it’s normalized and casual. In America, alcohol is forbidden for teens, so when they get it, they tend to binge hard. Cold hard data: - US teens (age 12-17): Only ~6.6% drank alcohol in the past month, but binge drinking rates among those who do drink are significantly higher. - European teens (ESPAD 2024): 42% reported alcohol use in the past 30 days, but with much lower rates of heavy episodic (binge) drinking compared to American patterns when drinking occurs. - Overall, European countries with more normalized, moderate drinking (like Italy) show lower rates of dangerous binge behavior among youth. The “Iron Law of Prohibition” suggests that strict bans push use toward riskier, more concentrated forms. What do you think, does cultural normalization reduce binge drinking, or does it create other problems?

"Most of the people I've seen with #MECFS are so much sicker than my cancer patients." Dr. Fridbjörn Sigurdsson, a former medical oncologist now focused on ME/CFS, speaking at the 2025 Invest in ME conference. Research indicates that for many, severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) can cause a lower quality of life, greater functional impairment, and more daily disruption than many cancers or multiple sclerosis. Patients with ME/CFS often report being bedbound, experiencing severe pain, and having little to no available treatment or path to remission. Key Findings on ME/CFS Severity: Quality of Life: Studies have shown that people with ME/CFS have lower quality of life scores than those with various cancers, stroke, or heart attacks. Daily Functioning: Approximately 25% of people with ME/CFS are severely affected, often housebound or bedbound. Comparison to Cancer: While cancer treatments are intense, they often have a defined endpoint, whereas ME/CFS is frequently a long-term, disabling, and ongoing condition with limited treatment options. Impact on Life: The illness can be so debilitating that it leads to a total loss of ability to work, socialize, or perform basic daily tasks like washing or eating. Severe Symptoms: In severe cases, patients may require tube feeding and live in darkness due to light and sound sensitivity. While cancer remains a highly fatal disease, the chronic, unpredictable, and unsupported nature of ME/CFS leads to extreme, long-term impairment that some sufferers and experts describe as sometimes feeling "worse" due to the lack of effective, universally available treatments

Chicago Public Schools just got another major break from the Illinois State Board of Education. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, schools will no longer be downgraded for chronic absenteeism, even though 40% of students miss 10% or more of school days without a valid excuse. Now students can skip class for protests and walkouts without it hurting their school’s rating. This follows the state’s decision last year to lower proficiency cut scores on standardized tests, instantly inflating reported reading and math proficiency rates with zero actual improvement in student performance. Ben Bradley claims this redesign of the school report card is not meant to lower standards and give more schools better grades. Claiming that removing penalties doesn’t lower standards is pure gaslighting. If we lower standards enough, we can just declare every school a smashing success. This is how Illinois pretends to improve education.

So, a lot of you have been talking about Wuthering Waves' optimization. Let me explain. 5700G (16 MB L3 Cache) + RX 9060 XT (FSR Quality) vs 5800X3D (96 MB 3D V-Cache) + RTX 5060 Ti (DLSS Quality) Note: I even increased the graphics settings on the 5060 Ti to show the difference. Explanation: Both GPUs deliver similar performance overall, but you'll notice higher FPS on the right side. Why? The Ryzen 7 5800X3D's 96 MB 3D V-Cache significantly improves performance in Wuthering Waves, especially 1% lows and overall frame consistency. In my testing, the performance improvement was around 40% compared to the 5700G. One reason is that Wuthering Waves is very CPU-sensitive, particularly in open-world areas. There are also optimization issues that Kuro Games still needs to address. I'm not trying to downplay anyone's PC. I'm simply pointing out that Wuthering Waves benefits a lot from CPUs with larger L3 cache, similar to games like Crimson Desert, STALKER 2, and Black Myth: Wukong. PS5 Performance Kuro Games still needs to improve the PS5 and PS5 Pro versions. Even some demanding games perform better on those consoles, so there's definitely room for optimization. I hope this helps! If you have any questions or want the best settings for your PC, feel free to ask. #WutheringWaves #Gacha

🔥A Resident Evil 3 Remake mod bringing back the original game is gaining attention — here’s what we learned. Resident Evil 3: Last Escape isn’t just another gameplay or difficulty mod. Its creator aims to transform Resident Evil 3 Remake into a much more faithful recreation of the original game. 👀The story behind the project is just as interesting. The creator isn’t a game developer, he’s a professional chef. Like many Resident Evil fans, he was disappointed by the remake’s short length and how much content from the 1999 original was left out. That disappointment inspired him to begin learning how to mod the game. He spent nearly a year and a half studying tutorials, documentation, and forum guides before finally starting work on the project. He understood that another Resident Evil 3 Remake was unlikely to happen within his lifetime, so instead of waiting for something that would probably never come, he decided to build his own vision. ❗️What makes Resident Evil 3: Last Escape stand out is the sheer scale of the project. The mod is expected to expand Resident Evil 3 Remake by more than 60%, largely through new playable locations. During development, the creator learned how to import virtually any location from any RE Engine game and make it fully functional with lighting, collision, doors, locks, items, resources, puzzles, enemies, and music. The project will also introduce new Nemesis encounters and boss fights, redesigned item placement and progression, brand-new puzzles and gameplay mechanics, and a reworked crafting system featuring multiple new gunpowder types. Everything has already been successfully implemented and confirmed to work reliably. 🧐He also learned how to create completely original locations that don’t exist in any RE Engine title. This will allow him to recreate several streets from the original Resident Evil 3 by transforming its classic pre-rendered backgrounds into fully explorable 3D environments. Everything described above has already been tested and confirmed to work. The long-term goal is to restore much of the original game's storyline through new cutscenes recreating events from Resident Evil 3 (1999). Confirmed additions include the fully playable Uptown, Clock Tower, Park, Cemetery, Dead Factory, and R.P.D., along with a working Ink Ribbon save system and other content cut from the remake. 👍One detail many fans will appreciate is that Resident Evil 3: Last Escape is planned to be released completely free of charge. The growing interest in the project once again shows how many fans remain dissatisfied with Resident Evil 3 Remake. Each new YouTube update draws thousands of views, while the comments are filled with fans supporting the creator and praising the project's vision. ❤️For many fans, it remains their favorite game in the series, and they continue to hope that one day it will receive the faithful, ambitious remake they believe it deserves. If Resident Evil 3 Remake were ever given a more faithful and ambitious reimagining on the level of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, many players would likely be happy to buy it again. The next major development update is expected in about a week, with a new YouTube video showcasing the project's latest progress.

Truck Driver with 32 years of experience shares how he believes we can lower the amount of truck accidents on the road. "Better training, more vetting drivers, making sure they can follow the laws, that they can read and write in english." On the full video on Youtube he shares that since the early 1930's it was a law that truckers must speak english. He also explained that it used to be like a "brotherhood" but that the culture has completely shifted. He told me rates have gone down for drivers and that rest stops are have liter and "waste" in them. When I stated that 80% of towns in America are solely reliable on truck drivers he reminded me that it's more like 100%. Even if it comes in on a train or plane our truckers bring us medicine, food, etc. It's important that we show them our appreciation for their long trips to keep our country running!

Monster Hunter Wilds big performance patch is out on PC. I spoke with the user who originally discovered the DLC bug and they confirmed that it seems to be fixed. More improvements I noticed from some quick testing (continued): • Better 1% lows for smoother gameplay with less hitching and stutter • Lower VRAM usage (10+ GB -> 7.5GB) • Higher FPS in some cases • CPU optimizations • High res texture pack is actually usable now • Lowered the install size by 45GB with texture pack • Some users report that their new frame rate WITHOUT FG = old frame rate WITH FG • More graphics options to tweak Overall, this update seems to have done the trick. Still not 100% perfect but MUCH better than it was before. The recent Steam reviews have also been very positive so it seems that most agree. Another patch is coming in February with even more optimizations for both PC and console. Settings and PC specs at the end - this was the default recommended settings at 4K DLSS Performance, Frame Gen off, 16x AF (roughly the High preset). Finally, Capcom didn't credit anyone in the Patch Notes so shoutout to de_Tylmarande for originally bringing the DLC bug to people's attention. #MonsterHunter #MonsterHunterWilds

There are two things worth pointing out about upscaling in #AssassinCreed Black Flag Resynced. 1. Incorrect resolution scaling with Balanced and Performance modes: Using Balanced or Performance with any upscaler causes the game's Resolution Scale (output resolution) to drop, which also lowers the internal render resolution. As a result, these modes apply incorrect scaling and the image quality is noticeably worse than it should be. For now, the workaround is to set the Resolution Scale to 100% and manually adjust the Max Dynamic Resolution (internal resolution) to match the expected scaling for Balanced or Performance mode. 2. The game defaults to the older DLSS 3 CNN model: By default, the game uses the older DLSS 3 Preset E. While it's still a fine option, it doesn't match the image quality of the DLSS 4 Transformer model (Preset K) or the newer DLSS 4.5 (Preset L and M). So I highly recommend forcing at least Preset K through the NVIDIA App (or another tool). Even on RTX 20/30 series GPUs, with Preset K, you can maintain the same performance as before while getting better image quality by using a lower upscaling mode, like Balanced instead of Quality. Hopefully Ubisoft Support fixes the scaling issue and adds an in-game option to choose between DLSS 3, DLSS 4, and DLSS 4.5.

🚨 Using CVS Ivermectin Lotion for Skin Conditions A woman recently shared that she uses the CVS brand Ivermectin lotion (found in the head lice section) for various skin issues, particularly rosacea. According to her, it’s the same active ingredient that dermatologists prescribe for rosacea, but this one comes in a much larger and more affordable tube She mentioned using it not just for rosacea, but also for eczema, psoriasis, and other topical skin conditions. Some people also use it for skin-related parasitic or fungal issues. While this is an over-the-counter head lice treatment, many are repurposing it for skin conditions due to the Ivermectin content and lower cost compared to prescription versions. If you're dealing with stubborn skin issues like rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis and want a cleaner, pharmaceutical-grade Ivermectin cream instead of a lice treatment or horse paste, many people are choosing PharmacyinUSA for verified products.
