Police have seized 11 motorcycles and destroyed the illegal modified silencers. The action follows multiple complaints from residents after a group of bikers allegedly rode recklessly between 11 pm on July 31 and 5 am on August 1 across Kad Nagar Chowk, Nyati Chowk, Raheja Vista Chowk, Undri, and Mohammadwadi, revving modified silencers that emitted explosive sounds. Videos of the riders were widely circulated on social media, prompting public outrage. According to police, several residents contacted the Kalepadal Police Station, stating that the loud noises created an atmosphere of fear during the night, with elderly citizens and children being startled awake. Acting on the complaints, a special police team gathered technical evidence and intelligence to identify the bikers. A woman was caught on camera smashing a Royal Enfield Bullet after a chain-reaction crash in #Jaipur, where a scooter’s sudden braking near a culvert caused the biker to lose control and collide with her cab ahead of him.
