Any time I get a new barrel I patch it out and give it a quick inspection before screwing it on. Rifling is not supposed to look like this.👀 I'm ready of this run of luck with new stuff to be over any day now.

OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. Sounds like the guidelines for this definition will be changing, either this season, or certainly for next season.

In a 6-6 tie with the bases loaded, Rafael Dever’s hits what is normally a ground rule double, but since the winning run is on third, Devers by rule can only be credited with a single, as you can only be credited with the amount of bases needed by the winning run (in this case 90 feet) Currently this is listed a as a double, but Elias Sports Bureau will fix this. E11 Bio is excited to unveil PRISM technology for mapping brain wiring with simple light microscopes. Today, brain mapping in humans and other mammals is bottlenecked by accurate neuron tracing. PRISM uses molecular ID codes and AI to help neurons trace themselves. We discovered a new cell barcoding approach exceeding comparable methods by more than 750x. This is the heart of PRISM. We integrated this capability with microscopy and AI image analysis to automatically trace neurons at high resolution and annotate them with molecular features. This is a key advance towards economically viable brain mapping - 95% of costs stem from neuron tracing. It is also an important step towards democratizing neuron tracing for everyday neuroscience. Solving these problems is critical for curing brain disorders, building safer and human-like AI, and even simulating brain function. In our first pilot study, we acquired a unique dataset in mouse hippocampus. Barcodes improved the accuracy of tracing genetically labelled neurons by 8x – with a clear path to 100x or more. They also permit tracing across spatial gaps – essential for mitigating tissue section loss in whole-brain scaling. Here, Brandon Lowe is not moving running in the outfield ... he's barely beyond the cutout (which doesn't have anything to do with this really). That is why this isn't a sacrifice fly (although it would be in college). Note that this is still an RBI for Bregman, just not a sacrifice fly.

People say running is bad and that it makes you look old and wastes away your muscle People are dumb That only happens if you run for to long at to high of a heart rate If you run at 130-140 beats per minute with a smile on your face it’s actually some of the best therapy there is If you are running and you can’t smile and it looks like you are in agony and can’t hold a pleasant conversation you are doing it wrong and that’s what will cause you to look old and frail This is called “the sweet spot” folks and it can be used for way more than just running
