Why is it important that Zelenskyy is using this term "Russian War Machine?" Because it destroys the heart of Russian propaganda. Russians have persuaded many Americans that supporting Ukraine means supporting the Forever Foreign War Machine. No! Supporting Ukraine means STOPPING the Russian War Machine. Trump began to use this terminology last month. It's great that Zelenskyy has now embraced it. It's much more powerful than simply saying "Stop the Killing," which treats the war as some kind of natural disaster. It shows that we can and must DEFEAT Russia, B/C of its War Machine.

Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine and all the Defense Forces of Ukraine for their precision. The distance from Ukraine’s state border is over 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow region is the highest. But we are overcoming it. Glory to Ukraine!

Russia, in its current state, needs war to maintain its grip on power, and it proves its intent to keep fighting by bombarding Ukraine every single day. This week alone, Russia has launched nearly 1,220 aerial bombs, over 850 attack drones, and more than 40 missiles of various types against our people. Ukraine is defending itself – we stand and fight thanks to the bravery of our warriors and the support of our partners. But we need more air defense systems to protect Ukrainians’ lives. Europe and the world must be better protected from such evil and prepared to confront it. This requires a strong, united foreign policy and pressure on Putin, who started this war and is now expanding it globally. Together with Europe, the U.S., and all our partners, we can end this war with a just and lasting peace.
