‼️ZELENSKYY: Lifting sanctions (on RU oil) so that more drones can target you later (in the Middle East and Europe) is, in my view, not the right decision. This easing alone from the U.S. could give Russia close to $10 billion for the war. “I believe lifting sanctions will lead to, in any case, strengthening Russia's position. They spend the money from their energy resource sales on weapons, and all of it is then used against us. And the logic of it, we hear signals that this is to stabilize the situation. But in my view, the logic is completely different. Russia spends this money on weapons — primarily drones — that are massively used to strike Ukrainians. And, as we already see from intelligence reports, these same drones are also being used against Iran’s neighbors, countries in the Middle East, as well as against Europeans and Americans whose forces are stationed at bases there.
