Russian border guards (and likely also young conscripts) surrender to Ukrainian forces in huge numbers in Russia's Kursk region. Unbelievable.

The West is leaving Ukraine no choice but to act on its own initiative. The Americans and also Germany are forbidding almost any meaningful means of counter-attack. I believe that this initiative shows that all is not yet lost if Western support finally gains momentum.
