Moisture in the air and water for washing are probably prime causes. Also brake discs are cast iron (i think) with high carbon content. So few days of disuse may attract rust formation.

Exactly what I discussed in the video ;)

Absolutely correct Sir Ji 💯…. It’s very normal, I have been using Soft99 Iron Terminator during washing and most of these rust mark go away. 👍🏻

My i20 rear disks on the left side has struck after a thorough car wash and parked aside. After a forceful run for 50mtrs back and forth, it’s released. Tyre was ruptured. Any suggestions @volklub Paaji

That's normal. They're steel, not carbon ceramic 👀

Rusting means made in India. German made never rust.

It usually falls off when starting to drive - mostly brake dust and other debris

You can see it 10 minutes after a proper wash too, very normal and not sure if someone gets worried because of it cuz one round would get it off

Very common bro, i live in himachal and due to moisture this happens to my car as well. Service center told me use the car more and this will not happen but unfortunately my running is very less.

Hope no experts recommend applying oil or grease for this. 😂

Sunder praaji your two cents on the constant disk break noise in Slavia? More if driven less, but constant during short distance breaking in traffic. Skoda says its a common issue, which I can’t buy from such a brand. Any solutions/ opinions on that?

Mercedes jaisi brand bhi ferrous material kyu use kar rahe hain disk brakes me. Alloy use nai kar sakte kya? 🤔
