Jared Moskowitz’s message for Elon Musk: I think the time for staying in safe spaces is over. Twitter—or X—is a safe space for him. You’ve got to get out of your safe spaces. Go talk to the American people—not just on Fox, not just next to the president, and not just on X. Come to Congress and talk to the American people. He’s not afraid to do it—or at least, I don’t think he is. But if he really believes he’s right, if he really thinks he has the winning argument, then he should come here, mix it up with Democrats, and embarrass us with his information—if that’s what he thinks he can do. Come do that.

Trump—in the press conference—was stunning in just straight up admitting this is a war for oil, and that he is willing to send our blood and treasure, our tax dollars, and our precious young men and women to “run Venezuela,” whatever the hell that means, with no plan.

And so the only answer to that is a functioning Congress. It turns out we do not have a functioning Congress. The House of Representatives is not representative. One of the most important organs of our democracy is not democratic. They say, "Oh, no. We're not manipulating the map to disempower black people.
