Deadpool & Wolverine is a film I try to forget. Look, I don’t normally get this critical about films (I’m here to promote Cinema, not shit on it), but man…this film was brutal. Chris Evans & Ryan Reynolds are the two actors I’ve consistently criticized the most since I started this account. But Evans is different than Reynolds. I’ve always felt like Evans is capable of so much more. Reynolds? This is kind of his jam. And that jam ain’t for me.

We sat down with the producers, Destin, and the costume department, and spoke about the things we all loved about those original costumes. The idea behind this suit was to make an homage to the things we loved about them. From a logistical point of view, Andrew and Tobey had it way easier than I had it. They had zips in different places, they could use the bathroom, they could take their mask off by themselves, they could take their gloves off. Zendaya: Take their gloves off… Tom Holland: For the fourth iteration of this character, it was the first time I could comfortably go to the bathroom. Interviewer: Could you drink with the mask on? Tom Holland: On this movie, I could take it off. In the previous movie, it was so tight that to take the mask off, you’d have to take the top off. This movie gave us a lot more freedom. One of the really awesome things we discovered while shooting was these new lenses. In certain light, you can actually see my eyes underneath the mask. Destin said, “I love being able to see that there is actually someone beneath that suit.” It really humanizes the superhero. Zendaya: I love the imperfections of the suit. It wrinkles, it moves, and you can see your ears a little, your jaw movement. I love those details. Tom Holland: With this new suit, we did away with that 3D printing element. It allowed me to be so much more flexible, and the suit was much stretchier. So it was definitely a comfier experience.

And being the teammate that he is and seeing his sacrifices and seeing what he's done his entire career puts him in a position to become a hall of famer. And honestly I wouldn't trade that for the world. And the things that he's done has been extraordinary and not really sure how he's going to respond to me saying all these nice things about him but he's one hell of a basketball player but he's honestly a better teammate"
