RYANAIR REJECTS NATS “WHITEWASH” REPORT

They have done a comprehensive report but you need to pay extra for it

@Ryanair it’s really simple. If you have incured costs from the NATS then to make a claim just save all your receipts and send them to your insurer for reimbursement . Isn’t that what you tell us when we are left out of pocket through no fault or our own. 😂#goodforthegoose

Michael is once again spot on. The NATS system should have decipheted the incorrect flight plan and simply disregarded it/returned it as not accepted. You don't spend tens of millions of £ on safety critical IT infrastructure to not ensure it cannot spot a dodgy bit of code.

He is right.

A few years ago I was stuck in Luxembourg due to bad weather and Ryanair had to cancel my flight - no fault of theirs. However, @Ryanair where absolutely nowhere to help / support or even just contact to help me through that disruption. Maybe a look in the mirror ...

No airline can be more ridiculous. You experience it, you hate it.

Absolutely agree with everything said. Apparently…… all that was wrong with the flight plan was two points over the Uk were given the same name on the plan, almost certainly accidentally typed in wrongly. Even a Commodore 64 could cope with an error like that!

You will come to realize that it's not wise to mess with Atc 😉

What about the disabled guy you left stranded?? Brushed under the carpet ya shower of scumbags

I totally agree. Firstly what was wrong with the flight plan to cause the issue? How can a rogue flight plan knock out the main and backup system? How is it that a rogue flight plan is allowed to be generated? Anyone else wondering which airline supposedly generated this plan?
