The US Administration has been extremely generous over many years, and it is within its rights to decide what it supports, and to what extent. But the abrupt cuts in funding from the US are putting at risk decades of progress in various health programmes across the world. We ask the US to engage in dialogue with affected countries so plans can be made to transition to more sustainable solutions, without disruptions that cost lives. We call on other donors and the countries that have relied on US financing to step up -- to the extent they can.

It comes from the kind of news they were exposed to and the anger they felt. I myself probably wouldn’t do the same thing that person did to us. 🦖: What I want is for people to look more at the reality of what is happening, what actually occurred between Thailand and Cambodia. And to try to understand it, because in truth, ordinary people like us, and people on the Cambodian side as well, are directly affected by this situation. But this is not something we should be blaming or attacking each other over.

We Just Want the Truth There is nothing wrong with asking questions, discussing and analyzing the varied collection of information surrounding the official Charlie Kirk narrative. I believe that both Viva Frei and I want the truth, perhaps we just disagree on what happens between now and then. I think it's reasonable to be inquisitive and skeptical of any official narrative, and I don't think the act of openly discussing information without certainty of it's meaning is wrong. If we just sat on the sidelines and said "the experts are in charge" throughout recent history, we'd be much worse off. We must be willing to admit if more evidence proves we were wrong, but we must also not associate anyone who follows the case from one angle or the other to be lumped in with the most outlandish or fringe element of people talking about it. All we want is the truth and I think that's true of both sides, for the most part.

In essence, the cutting edge, the things that give us an advantage. It would be dumb and stupid for us to sell that to anybody, especially a country that's going to reverse engineer it and leapfrog it. So I think that's understood maturely speaking. There are things the United States still has dominant position in and from our national security perspective, we should keep that dominance. We want to keep that dominance. The Chinese are going to do their best to catch us and even surpass us. We shouldn't make it easy for them.
