Here people can stand in line for hours to buy a new phone, sometimes to buy liquor and sometimes to buy meat, but cannot stand even for 52 seconds in respect of their national anthem.

What's the logic behind playing jan gan before a movie?? People go to the cinema for entertainment not for school prayers. Blaming people without any reason is pure mental sickness. Blame political class and top beurocrats which has done most corruption in disguise of deshbhakti

Salute men. Next time if possible I will promote people to sing the national anthem before watching a movie in the theatre and also tell them to spread these.. Atleast as an Indian I can do it proudly..

He compared Indian National Anthem being played in theatres to army getting respected. Both don’t go hand to hand. Indian National Anthem being played in theatres in India and USA National Anthem being played in theatres in USA. Now that’s a comparison.

I have enough respect for my forces because for them we exist but this country is doomed why you know because we are living in a country in 2025 but our laws are still struck in 1960 even in the Indian army how many cases are launched against the army men and all.

There’s a notion which has been fueled by the current government if you don’t standup for national anthem. If you don’t support the government. You’re an Anti-National. If Mahatma Gandhi gets disrespected then hum konsi khet ki muli hai.

People go to PVR to watch a movie and generally enjoy themselves. There is a time and place for singing the national anthem. PVR is not that place.

In India everyone wants rights & facilities but nobody wants to do anything. How we can expect anything from this mindset.

I can assure you National Anthem doesn’t get played in theatres in USA. If there were any to oppose “xyz” not standing it’s completely their right in USA. If anyone disturbs my right then I can call the manager or the police to address the issue. In India you get kicked out.
