Sadie Robertson shouldn’t be preaching because it’s a clear command in the scriptures that women aren’t to preach. Plus her theology is off.

I believe we should extend a little grace here, Terri. Sadie is very young and clearly not a theologian. Her exegesis is flawed, but mine was too when I was her age. I’m 57 and believe I’ve just scratched the surface of knowing God’s Word. Sanctification is lifelong journey.

She’s given a huge platform at passion. Her age is a major issue because a lot of what she says is immature.

One aspect of women's ministries rarely discussed is age. The scripture instructs older women to instruct the young, not the other way around. Or the young to instruct the young. There's a practical reason for this: the experience of years walking with the Lord brings wisdom.

But isn’t your preaching about women not being able to preach an example of a woman preaching — and violating the very thing that you are speaking out against? 😊

Wow. Lol. The first preacher of the resurrection was a woman! Paul commended women in ministry.

How is what you’re doing not preaching or teaching? Honestly wondering. So it’s ok to criticize other women & men from a Twitter pulpit, for not being biblically correct? How is that not putting yourself above men?

Paul speaking to a specific situation in Corinth. If you take that as a command, you also shouldn’t have married and you shouldn’t cut your hair. There is a difference between Paul’s divinely inspired commands and his wishes/desires/contextual advice.

Lol. History is filled with women preaching and teaching the gospel and Jesus was the great liberator of women.

Her following is primarily young people college age and younger, mostly young girls. Out of all the people our young girls are following and Sadie is the one you go after??!! Someone who loves Jesus and is actually a good role model.
