On 12/27/2024 a KHP Trooper stopped a motorist who was driving the wrong direction on the four lane US-75 highway through Montgomery County. The Trooper found that the motorist had just left a bar, had a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.132, and had an open container of vodka in the floor board. Fortunately this motorist was stopped and removed from the road before a crash occurred. Driving impaired doesn't just put you at risk, it puts the lives of everyone else on the road at risk as well. This New Years Eve choose to be a responsible driver and plan ahead to have a sober ride, designate a sober driver, or use a ride-share service.
