My very first anime. And the show that introduced me to the concepts of serialized long-form storytelling in TV format and that cartoons can carry heavy subject matter too...and not just be funny and zany. LOVE Sailor Moon.

Ok, rewriting obvious lesbians as cousins aside, this series should never have had a dub. Nothing matches the tone and cadence from the original. 🇯🇵

I remember wanting to be her so bad, trying on my mom's red heels and then I got angry that in later transformations she got boots
