Lmaooo the replies here As someone who actually answers that question…it was obviously trying to turn the tables on the debate about making the voting age 16 It’s not a proposal no one’s thought of till he said it Also no one actually agreed with it! Calm down

Anddddd…. that’s why the voting age must be raised to at least 30. The youths of today have no respect for the elderly. Horrible. #QandA.

Should be restrict voting to those who have children given that only they have a long term interest in the consequences of their actions?

You can see why the Greens want voting age at least 16.

Seriously?? We just had an aged care Royal Commission, still lots of criticism of the sector. Many pensioners can’t afford to heat their homes. Yes, I think we should let them vote. #QandA

Meanwhile, I bet Sam ensures that elders past, present and emerging are respected. #qanda

A lifetime of wisdom thrown into the garbage. Every ‘old’ person was your age once.

@QandA It's essential to respect all citizens' rights to vote, regardless of age. Instead of imposing an age cap, let's focus on promoting informed and inclusive discussions that incorporate diverse perspectives, including those of older adults. #QandA

A generalisation about how “older people” vote thinking only of themselves; and also quite ageist view regarding both questions.
