Sam Darnold on his time with the 49ers “I feel like I got my PhD in football when I went to San Francisco. That was such a blessing for me to learn from Kyle, Brian Griese, The Kubiaks, Klay and Klint. And then to To be able to, not only learn from Brock, I’ve talked about learning from Brock quite a bit, but like all the great players that are over there. George Kittle, Fred Warner, Christian McCaffrey, Trent Williams of course…” Via: Bussin' With The Boys

WILD: #49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says that #Seahawks QB Sam Darnold was on TORADOL and that is why he was able to play through his oblique injury. “It takes a while for the Toradol to kick in, so we knew Sam would be fine once kickoff came.” 👀

TJ Dottery on following Lane Kiffin to LSU: “I felt like this was the best decision for me. The major one being the scheme on defense.” “Why not go play for the coach who gave me an opportunity when a lot of other coaches didn’t at that time?”

Emmanuel Acho believes Kyle Shanahan hired Raheem Morris as his DC because it was a safe hire. Acho also had this to say: “Steve Wilks called me 3 years ago when he was the Niners DC. I won’t say all of the private details, but his point was Shanahan likes his defense a certain way. Not that Shanahan wants a puppet, but he likes his defense a certain way, a certain way that Wilks does not like to play defense. Wilks likes to blitz. Shanahan likes his DC’s to sit back and play coverage. That’s why the Niners were last in sacks this year. I am partially afraid that this was a homeboy hire.” via: Speakeasy

Super Bowl Champion Seahawks QB Sam Darnold credits his career turnaround to his year with the #49ers — sitting behind Brock Purdy & learning from Kyle Shanahan. “It’s funny how it works. I didn’t play great football the first few years of my career, and then I came here to San Francisco, and I learned a ton. And I think because of that year in San Francisco, I was able to learn a ton. Learn from Brock and coach Shanahan.”

Logan Ryan on Kyle Shanahan: “Kyle Shanahan is one of the baddest coaches on the planet. He should have a lifetime deal with the 49ers. I knew from the moment I stepped in the first meeting of joining the team that Kyle Shanahan was one of the best coaches I have ever seen and I got coached by Bill Belichick.” via: Jim Rome

#Seahawks Sam Darnold on his performance in the Super Bowl: "I didn't play great in the Super Bowl. I missed way too many throws, and we still won. Our defense balled out. I didn't turn the ball over, which helped. But to win the Super Bowl that way? I was bummed. I want to score 40 points. I want to go out there and ball out. Like dang, I didn't play my best football in the Super Bowl. That sucks!" via Bussin' With the Boys Photo and video credit: NFL

Chris Long thinks Kyle Shanahan should be COTY. Here’s what he had to say about Kyle’s play-calling: “I just think there’s no offensive play designer that when you watch him, everything they do, it’s like 'I know why he did that', everything makes sense. Everything’s intentional and it’s the opposite of watching the Eagles. It’s like a different sport when you watch San Francisco or some of these other well coached groups. The Delta between a good offensive coordinator and a bad offensive coordinator in the NFL is like 'whoa man'.” via: Green Light with Chris Long

Jason Willam’s says you’re not paying Trae Young $200M for defense “He is trying he just don’t stand there. They said the same thing about me I didn’t play defense. I was trying my a** off if it didn’t look like I was trying I was. F*ck all them that don’t think I played defense and f*ck who don’t think Trae play defense” (Via Hoopin' N Hollerin’)

Chitrangda Singh reacts to rumours of #SalmanKhan arriving late on sets I can vouch for it that there’s not been one day that he’s been late. I sometimes like suppose there was an important scene that we were shooting emotionally very important for #BattleOfGalwan and he was there even though it was he wasn’t in the shot. He was there at 10:30 in the morning not just one day I think there was three days in a row that he was there that early. I have lot respect for that man for having so much devotion for his work.

NBA players reveal what it was really like living inside the infamous 2020 COVID "Bubble" for 106 days [Kyle Kuzma]: "We were there for 106 days. I remember being home like, 'They are still in that bubble! Like what is going on?!' ...No windows, like no balconies. Balconies, that was the worst part." [Kyle Kuzma]: "We had the same thing to eat every day for 106 days. But I feel like the bubble was easy though, because if you wanted to be there and win, then like you know you were going to be there longer... there were a lot of teams that had that private meeting... everybody were just like, 'Yeah, I don't want to be here.'" [Cam Johnson]: "While other teams were more like having that attitude like 'Man, I want to be here,' I was like, 'Hell yeah, I'll play! I'll play eight more games!'"

McAvoy on his suspension appeal and Benson’s hit that sparked his actions: “I thought that was extremely dangerous, you’re talking about broken legs, broken ankles, knees, everything. When you go into the boards at full speed that in my mind is one of the most dangerous and vulnerable situations you can be in… “I felt like that was a deliberate play that could have resulted in a serious injury for me and that was why I kind of snapped. If I didn’t have a broken hand maybe I would have fought him, but I did. I lost my wits to a certain degree and I have regrets about that.”

This Travis Smyth answer on playing with Scottie Scheffler is incredible. "Playing with Scottie for the first time. Watching the precision of his iron play was amazing. It was kind of demoralizing a little bit. It was like, damn, when I play good, I don't think I have that in me. "He's a lovely guy, really down to earth, which I'm happy about. He's not like a dickhead or anything. So it was good."
