Sam Neill has passed away at 78. His passing comes suddenly after he stated in April that he was cancer free after fighting a rare form of blood cancer. I will miss this man deeply. He was an actor filled with heart and filled with joy. We lost a great one today. RIP to a true gentleman.

Rivaldo is no more. 💔 For decades, this gentle giant roamed the forests of Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiris. Despite being a wild tusker, Rivaldo was known for his calm presence near humans. People often threw things at him, yet he never retaliated. In 2013, poachers mutilated him, costing him a portion of his trunk but even that cruelty couldn’t take away his grace. He remained as calm as was in past. In 2020, following human lobbying, Rivaldo was taken into captivity. After the intervention of Menaka Gandhi and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, he was finally returned to the wild choosing freedom over confinement in 2021. But this captivity changed him. He perhaps no longer had trust on humans, on us.
