A woman and her husband went to the store to get an Apple gift card for $100. After they got it, they had tried to use it for their iPhone. The opened the package and got the card out, the last few digits on the back of the card are missing and she couldn’t use it. She goes back to the store and speaks to customer service about a refund. Customer service claims they can’t do anything about it because there are no refunds on gift cards and they need to call the company the card is for. She then pulls a few of the same cards off of the display and opens them in front of customer service and proves to them that they all have the same issue. This does look like the card was manufactured defectively and the customer service rep acknowledged it, but why are they leaving it on the shelf for other people to buy it and be ripped off?

This paving company had to tear up the entire new driveway after it failed the first rain… and after redoing the whole thing, it looks like they still didn’t get it right. The same low spots and poor grading the homeowner pointed out before they re-poured are already showing signs of pooling water again. All that disruption, and the problems came right back. When you pay to have a job done properly, getting it wrong twice is hard to swallow. Have you ever had a contractor redo work only for the same issues to return?

A Texas couple pulled up their Ring camera footage and watched an Amazon delivery driver cut straight across their freshly cut lawn, made the delivery, then did a full U-turn right through the yard to leave. No driveway, no sidewalk - just drove right through their grass like it was a parking lot. Amazon at least offered to repair the damage, but the fact that someone thought this was acceptable in the first place is mind blowing. What should be the punishment? These are people’s homes.
