Same feeling I get when artists ask me some info on guns for their work

Tell me something interesting about the Nagant M1895 that's not related to suppressors.

OK, what about this carbine that my friend @LumMagnum kitbashed for my novel? It's supposed to be a steampunk-ish police carbine loosely based on the Winchester 1907. It has a gas cutoff which turns the gun lever action for less powerful rounds like "non lethal" wooden bullets.

When you ask me about: Guns. Motorcycles. D&D. Linux. American Military History. Rome.

I have been the weapons advisor for an artist friend for years now. I love it

when you actually start to explain it to them

Been commissioning a Portuguese feller for a few things. It’s funny trying to explain cargo pants and corncob pipes are commonplace here

Sort of happened to me, but in form of adding more and more lore friendly gun mods into Fallout You ain't even notice it once you've gone down the hole

Not an artist, but I could always use MORE info Doc. I did a metric ass-ton of research (such as on the Welrod) before picking out Anya's armaments for Eastern Blood Price and I'm sure I STILL got some things wrong. Would be great if I could source you in the future 😅
