Copying the smartphone. Everyone tried to make the 'convergence' device. Nokia/Treo/Blackberry. A lot of people decried it too. Apple pulled it together w/ the right 'recipe'. Android was slavishly copying blackberry and when their CEO spied the iPhone, they slavishly copied that

It’s not the same. The animation on the iPhone puts what is on the right side of the screen on the outside screen. This looks like every other android copy of what Apple does. Half baked and cheap.

The Duo animation is completely different. Look closely—the frame rotates around the main display, while the display stays flat. Even when the frame is half-folded, there’s barely any visible bend. Whoever made the Z8 animation clearly misunderstood the Duo animation. 😅
