While Samuel Ajayi Crowther was translating the Bible into Yorùbá language, he erroneously translated Satan as Èṣù, while characters like Peter, Paul, Jesus and many others were left untranslated. That choice caused serious damage to African spirituality, where Èṣù is neither evil nor against Olodumare. This is why the Ìṣẹ̀ṣe community marks Dec 24 to remind the world that Èṣù is not Satan. DO YOU AGREE THAT ESU IS NOT SATAN?
