Antarctica is plunging into winter early this year. On March 24th, temperatures at Vostok Station fell to -75.3C. That matches the lowest March temperature on record (tied with 1982 and 2020) in observations dating back to 1958. This is deep winter cold arriving weeks ahead of schedule. Russians don’t believe that Russia is winning. They clearly see that their losses are beyond comprehension. To quote this guy: “Ukraine is f**king all of Russia in the mouth and twisting Putin’s ‘huilo’ into his ear.” They’re starting to realize there’s no such thing as safety, and the only reason civilians in Russia aren’t dying en masse is because, for now, the only one killing them is Russia itself.
