Lol... well played! I have found that it is pointless to try to argue with people who just want to wallow in their own self-hate and drag you into their sphere of misguided rage. Someone said to me once, "Hurt people, hurt people." I always try to keep that in mind when dealing with these folks. It doesn't take a PHD to understand that something in their life has gone terribly wrong to make them behave this way. I think that all we can do is to continue to keep the dialogue going and hope we can reach an understanding. The trick is leading them into the light while making them feel like it was all their own idea... and then- more importantly- being there for them when they awaken from the "woke slumber". People tend to freak out when their world view crashes in on them. We have to proceed with caution and kindness... Humor def helps!
