You waive your 5th amendment right against self incrimination each time you file to pay this “voluntary tax”. “The power to tax involves the power to destroy.” John Marshall

But you can have all your assets seized if you don’t pay.

The BIG question is.. When you fill out that form when you're first hired, and you claim exempt; The IRS will hunt you down and garnish your wages. How on EARTH do you fight them?

There was a man that challenged them in court to show him the law, he won his case.

this "breaking news" hit the theaters as a documentary over 20 years ago... RIP Aaron Russo.

Per Grok:

Laws Requiring U.S. Citizens to Pay Income Tax 1. Sixteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution The Sixteenth Amendment, ratified in 1913, grants Congress the power to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on a census. The text of the amendment is as follows: "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration." 2. Internal Revenue Code (IRC) The Internal Revenue Code (Title 26 of the U.S. Code) contains the laws that implement the income tax requirements. Key sections include: IRC § 1: Imposes a tax on the taxable income of individuals, estates, and trusts. IRC § 61: Defines "gross income" as all income from whatever source derived, including (but not limited to) compensation for services, business income, gains from property sales, interest, rents, royalties, dividends, alimony, and pensions. IRC § 63: Defines "taxable income" as gross income minus allowable deductions. IRC § 1461: Requires withholding of tax on nonresident aliens and foreign corporations. IRC § 6012: Specifies who must file income tax returns, including individuals with gross income that equals or exceeds the standard deduction plus one personal exemption. IRC § 6151: Requires payment of taxes shown on a return. 3. Treasury Regulations The Treasury Regulations (e.g., 26 CFR) provide detailed rules and interpretations of the Internal Revenue Code, including how income tax is calculated, collected, and enforced. 4. Legal Precedents Several court cases have upheld the constitutionality and legality of the federal income tax, including: Brushaber v. Union Pacific Railroad Co. (1916): The Supreme Court upheld the Sixteenth Amendment and the federal income tax as constitutional. United States v. Sullivan (1927): Affirmed that income tax applies to all lawful income. 5. State Income Tax Laws In addition to federal income tax, many states impose their own income taxes. Each state has its own laws and regulations governing state income tax. For example: California Revenue and Taxation Code New York Tax Law Texas (which does not have a state income tax) Failure to comply with federal income tax laws can result in penalties, interest, and legal action by the IRS. The IRS enforces these laws through audits, collection actions, and criminal prosecutions for tax evasion.

Video clip from “America: Freedom to Fascism” documentary. Former IRS agents (Sherry Peel Jackson, John Turner) claim no statute requires average US citizens to pay direct income tax on wages; it’s voluntary or fraudulent. Includes 2000 USA Today ad challenging $50K for proof, and quotes on tax use for debt interest. Debunked myth—26 U.S.C. §1 mandates it.

It’s interesting to me that and most of the cases when they speak they use the word “average American citizen” with emphasis on the word average. What does that mean?

Assuming the US Military knows this to be true, at what point will they set an example and DISCONTINUE taking Federal Income Tax out of Military Pay and Retirement Pay? As far as I’m concerned, they are complicit.

Private business. My job is a private business but takes taxes out so I file because I want them back at the end of the year but all I get is a percentage. Savages.

How do we get around the 16th Amendment ?!

This is all true. The problem is that the “system” Will make your life a living HELL if you don’t let them withhold YOUR money every paycheck. You don’t have to file, but if you don’t let them take part of your paycheck I can guarantee that eventually they will doc your check!

I've tried to tell people this and no one believes me.

👀👆

I want every penny back

While this is true the banks are involved with making sure that you file. Try buying a car or house on finance without your tax records. Good Luck.

@itsjordanclark

Regardless of whether this is true or not, there is a universal law that governments use: might makes right. They will destroy disent.

This is a fact, I've been looking into all of this for over a year+. Taxes and debt is a fraud.

Well we have known this So now what? Who will end this theft on the American people? Waiting ✋️ ✋️ ✋️

Same will apply in 51st state I imagine…😂

End debt slavery! We Are Free People and do NOT need the government to tax US from cradle to grave! Strong arm mafia disguised as “government”! END THE FED!!!!

The power and authority to prosecute and imprison has overruled the law.

@grok what’s the story behind this. Any truth to it?

TAXATION is theft imo …. BUT I’ll take the 50k 🫡. The primary constitutional authority for federal income taxes is the 16th Amendment, ratified in 1913. It explicitly grants Congress the power to impose taxes on income without the apportionment requirement that previously applied to direct taxes under Article I. Broader taxing authority is also rooted in Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the Constitution, which gives Congress the general power. Additionally, Article I, Section 9, Clause 4 originally restricted direct taxes by requiring apportionment ("No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken"), but the 16th Amendment supersedes this for income taxes. Congress exercised its constitutional authority by enacting the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), codified as Title 26 of the United States Code (26 U.S.C.). This is the primary federal law governing income taxes. 26 U.S.C. § 61: Defines "gross income" broadly as "all income from whatever source derived," establishing what is subject to tax.

💥🎯💯👀🙏❤️🕊️🐸

@grok show me the law…

Irrelevant. Most don’t qualify to begin with

@heresyfinancial what do you make of this?

Wow

@grok , what does 26 U.S.C. §1 state ?
