A note on yesterday's Transport Select Committee session - we're really disappointed that the Rail Minister misrepresented our agreements with various operators. It's not good enough. This dispute needs to be resolved but that must happen with honesty and respect.

Why are young people applying for driving licences not being treated with basic dignity? At the very least, they should be provided with cold drinking water during this intense heat. This concern is not limited to the J&K Transport Department but it applies to all government offices across the country.

Good morning fellow South Africans Illegal foreigners, commonly referred to as "kwere-kwere" or "Zai-Zais," must never be allowed to feel comfortable among South Africans. We must clearly demonstrate to them that they are not welcome here and that they should return to their countries of origin. We must stop renting our shacks and houses to these foreigners. They must not be permitted to use our public transport.
