TVK is routinely rage-baiting DMK. And they are falling for it, despite their experience. Just like Vadivelu in the kidney-theft comedy. Rather than focussing on public issues, DMK is sword-fighting on other stuff. On GoalTalk with T.N. Raghu

DMK is raising public issues against TVK government, but its impact is diluted by the distasteful language of some leaders on stage and the abusive discourse of their ecosystem on social media. Even people who find issues against TVK govt may not vote for DMK because of this. On GoalTalk with T.N. Raghu

TVK went to court against Fact Check Unit under the DMK government and after coming to power, appointed its own loyalists to it. If they want to bust fake news run it in your own money, not with public funds. On GoalTalk with T.N. Raghu

The young TVK government has some lethargy in the bureaucratic machinery, which is visible in Chennai's monsoon preparedness works. Usually the MAWS minister would have carried out a few review meetings at Ripon buildings itself but this time it hasn't happened. Chief Minister Vijay is the MAWS minister; if not him, some other ministers can be deputed. The TVK government also needs a more proactive chief secretary who gets more work done is what many in the bureaucracy feel. We shot this on Tuesday. A few days later, the chief secretary has conducted a spot inspection in Chennai. On GoalTalk with T.N. Raghu

I'm replying this to people who are tagging me & asking why I dint meet the Sanitation workers this time: I'm not in Chennai this week. I would definitely have met and stood with them if I was in town. They have every right to ask for their demands to be fulfilled. Meanwhile as per TVK Layola Mani 's speech, Minister Rajmohan has held initial meetings and is trying to resolve the workers issues at the earliest. Protest permissions are being arranged by CMOTamilNadu who will meet them soon as per video below. Appreciate Advocate Bharathi for his civilized leadership in this tense situation. Hoping for the best beneficial solution to our workers at the earliest. #sanitationworkers #protest

TVK government under CM Vijay is using sports to curb the drug problem among youngsters. The allocation in their first budget for sports has gone up by 80%. They are building on the gains achieved under then Deputy CM Udhayanidhi, as well as CM Edappadi Palaniswami. Listen to what T.N. Raghu has to say about how medal winners are now being honoured by the government immediately. He recalls Dinesh Karthik and Sharat Kamal from 2007 as well. On GoalTalk

155,000 workers are on strike. Instead of getting these workers a contract, Justin Trudeau jetted off to New York. PSAC-AFPC workers need the Prime Minister to take this seriously and give them the respect they deserve.

Tiruppur, the textile hub, speaks. Akshita Nandagopal is on the ground, speaking to workers about what they’re voting for this election — and what they expect from the next government. With a clear call for change, support for TVK is steadily gaining ground, as workers share their reasons for backing Vijay. Listen in. #Tiruppur #Super6 | Akshita Nandagopal

Abusive language used by DMK leaders has been made a central election plank by CM Joseph Vijay for the Maduranthakam and Dharapuram bypolls. DMK leaders including Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin are raising valid public issues, but frequently use distasteful language in campaigns. This has pushed the public issues back, much to DMK's disadvantage and TVK's advantage. They are asking people not to vote for DMK based on this. On GoalTalk with T.N. Raghu

Thank you so much to the brave COPE members for sharing their stories this morning. We need this gov't to work with teachers and education workers on solutions to increased violence in schools. Education workers should not have to put their bodies on the line every day. #onted

Is Udhayanidhi Stalin a habitual offender with respect to crass language? Sometime ago, he said an "item song" is left to shoot in the assembly. He has also spoken vulgarly about VK Sasikala and Edappadi Palaniswami. However, he once reprimanded former Minister Govi Chezian when he used the words 'aanmai' on stage. On GoalTalk with T.N. Cornell called the police on students who were selling coffee outside the dining hall to raise money for striking Starbucks workers. Workers and students are protesting the company's decision to shut down all their stores in Ithaca — all of which are unionized.

🚨🚨SHOCKING This company fired Canadian workers and hired ILLEGAL workers. AFTER they had been found out, Liberals gave them multiple rounds of subsidy anyways. Your tax dollars went to subsidize a company that fired Canadians and hired illegal workers. The Minister who is supposed to be responsible for Jobs says that she wasn't aware of this, even though it was her government that provided me with the information.

After the Education Minister's resignation, CJP protesters are now saying the protest is not over. They claim they are taking a one-week break and will return to Delhi next week to protest again and demand the resignations of other ministers. They are saying they will keep protesting until they get every minister to resign. After the Education Minister's resignation, these people have now forgotten their place. They've become addicted to free burgers and pizza, which is why they want to keep protesting for no reason. The people of Delhi are suffering because of this. The government should throw them out of Delhi. Enough is enough.

My first and foremost duty is to always stand with our people in their pain & struggles 💪 Last year I protested with our Sanitation Workers outside Rippon Building on the footpath but this year we are protesting inside the building. This contrast is evident 👏 The current TVK Vijay Government is acknowledging our workers respectfully unlike how they were treated by the previous Govt! But this is not enough. The needs of our workers should be rightfully fulfilled. H'ble CMOTamilNadu Vijay sir please immediately meet with your people who are eagerly awaiting your visit as you promised them. #isupport #sanitationworkers #protest
