The young TVK government has some lethargy in the bureaucratic machinery, which is visible in Chennai's monsoon preparedness works. Usually the MAWS minister would have carried out a few review meetings at Ripon buildings itself but this time it hasn't happened. Chief Minister Vijay is the MAWS minister; if not him, some other ministers can be deputed. The TVK government also needs a more proactive chief secretary who gets more work done is what many in the bureaucracy feel. We shot this on Tuesday. I'm replying this to people who are tagging me & asking why I dint meet the Sanitation workers this time: I'm not in Chennai this week. I would definitely have met and stood with them if I was in town. They have every right to ask for their demands to be fulfilled. Meanwhile as per TVK Layola Mani 's speech, Minister Rajmohan has held initial meetings and is trying to resolve the workers issues at the earliest. Protest permissions are being arranged by CMOTamilNadu who will meet them soon as per video below. Appreciate Advocate Bharathi for his civilized leadership in this tense situation. Hoping for the best beneficial solution to our workers at the earliest. #sanitationworkers #protest
