Schools are for education, NOT indoctrination. We must reform curriculum, get kids back to the basics of learning, and empower parents to choose the best school for their child through education freedom.

The curriculum used by districts is publicly accessible. Our classrooms are open to parents any day of the school week. You’re not gonna have enough teachers to staff those private schools you wanna fund with public money if you keep disrespecting us, Greg.

Never forget that the primary reason for not adequately funding public schools, paying teachers a proper wage, supporting the needs of student, keeping schools safe, etc., is to erode trust in public education in order to privatize it.

Translation: We want to pull money from public schools (and give it to private schools that avoid teaching anything that makes us uncomfortable).

Schools are for education, not indoctrination—that’s why no child should get a voucher for religious school. Indoctrination is the PURPOSE of religious schools!

Parents already have a choice to send their child to whatever school they choose. Taxpayers should not have to foot the bill for that choice. We need to invest in our public schools.

There is no indoctrination going on in public schools. You would know that if you’d spend even one day shadowing a teacher.

Oh, shut up. Parents in Texas can already send their kids to any private school that they can afford and that accepts their child, or they can homeschool. But, please, don’t expect my tax dollars to pay for it.
