So the phrase “settled science” is ridiculous then, is it not?

Said by the "new prophet" with a lot of faith. I can't stand this new guru of knowledge.

Ironically, in the modern era it seems to be the scientists who arrogantly believe that they know everything.

This is just propaganda and has nothing to do with actual history of science if you look at ancient and medieval physicists, none of whom thinks they don't have areas of ignorance.

I find it fascinating how the foundation of science lies in embracing our ignorance. Admitting what we don't know fuels curiosity and ignites the quest for knowledge.

Science is based on Man’s ability to reason about an objectively existing reality. The fact that Man isn’t omniscient doesn’t mean he’s ignorant. In fact, relying on faith IS an admission that one doesn’t have the answers and yet one believes anyway. Science says “Let’s go find out why.”
