The firm confirmed it is no longer pursuing the deal, citing rapidly changing dynamics around the bid. Affinity had been part of a deep-pocketed financial group supporting Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison’s unsolicited offer, valued at more than $108 billion, for the entire Warner Bros empire.
