Government data reportedly showed prescription drug prices falling at their fastest rate in 60 years. Jennings said that is exactly the kind of number Republicans should be talking about when voters are still feeling the effects of high prices. Then Democrat Keith Boykin immediately tried to give the credit to Joe Biden... Jennings wasn’t about to let that slide. JENNINGS: “I think that focus on things that are going right is a great idea for a midterm.” “Case in point on Friday, numerous outlets reported that government data shows prescription drugs prices are falling faster than they have in 60 years.” BOYKIN: “Thanks in part to the Biden administration…” JENNINGS: “That’s the kind of thing that if you were running for office and you were in office and you were getting the credit and the blame for everything that’s happening, you would actually be talking about nonstop.” “That’s an example of where in a world that feels expensive, that’s actually coming down, that’s a good thing.” BOYKIN: “You can’t take credit for that.
