@ScottJenningsKY They’re just mad that @elonmusk and @DOGE are exposing them and cutting off their funding. The more they find and expose, and the more that the Left protests, the more popular he becomes.

Democrat strategist Alencia Johnson was spinning wildly on CNN, accusing President Trump of taking away the voting rights of black Americans. Scott Jennings didn’t interrupt her. Instead, he waited for her to finish. When he entered the fray, he asked the one question that unraveled her entire narrative: “How?” JOHNSON: “He is actually championing a bill that actually would take voting rights away from a lot of black people in this country, all during black history month, and then call the president the first black president and the first lady monkeys and apes in this during this month.” “So this doesn’t absolve Donald Trump of his racism. We all know exactly who he is. The reality is the conversation, and the question should be, why do people continue to support him if they don’t want us to believe they are okay with racism?” JENNINGS: “Wait, what voting rights is he taking away from black voters?” JOHNSON: “The SAVE Act! That’s exactly what we’re talking about.” JENNINGS: “How?” JOHNSON: “That is actually going to disenfranchise overwhelmingly a lot of people of color.” JENNINGS: “How? How?” JOHNSON: “There are so many civil rights organizations that have run the data. If you look at the way it is going to disenfranchise black voters—” JENNINGS: “How?” JOHNSON: “It’s the same reason Chuck Schumer called it Jim Crow 2.0.” JENNINGS: “How? You haven’t said how yet!” JOHNSON: “I am talking about it. It’s the way that you’re putting new poll taxes on us.” JENNINGS: “Poll taxes?!” JOHNSON: “If you want to say that people have to prove that they are citizens, that they have to prove with a voter ID, the reality is you’re layering what is a constitutional right for the American people and making it harder for people to vote in this country, and it’s going to disenfranchise black voters.” That’s when Scott Jennings landed his knockout blow. JENNINGS: “Does it concern you that you’re making all these claims you’ve yet to lay out how it’s hurting anyone.” “But 76% of black voters think we should show an ID to vote. 80% of hispanic voters, 83% of the American people.” “Are you saying that black voters are too dumb to know what’s good for them?” “I mean, it sounds pretty condescending to me.”

Scott Jennings says Republicans should be hammering the good economic news heading into the midterms — and he found a pretty good example. Government data reportedly showed prescription drug prices falling at their fastest rate in 60 years. Jennings said that is exactly the kind of number Republicans should be talking about when voters are still feeling the effects of high prices. Then Democrat Keith Boykin immediately tried to give the credit to Joe Biden... Jennings wasn’t about to let that slide. JENNINGS: “I think that focus on things that are going right is a great idea for a midterm.” “Case in point on Friday, numerous outlets reported that government data shows prescription drugs prices are falling faster than they have in 60 years.” BOYKIN: “Thanks in part to the Biden administration…” JENNINGS: “That’s the kind of thing that if you were running for office and you were in office and you were getting the credit and the blame for everything that’s happening, you would actually be talking about nonstop.” “That’s an example of where in a world that feels expensive, that’s actually coming down, that’s a good thing.” BOYKIN: “You can’t take credit for that. When Joe Biden…” JENNINGS: “Sure we can, I just did!” BOYKIN: “Yeah, you can, but you’d be lying because Joe Biden’s policies contributed to the…” JENNINGS: “Who’s the president? You blame him for everything, you can’t give him a little credit?!” That last line pretty much summed up Jennings’ argument. If Republicans are going to be blamed for everything voters don’t like about the economy, he says they should have no problem pointing to the numbers that are actually moving in the right direction.

Scott Jennings makes CNN panelist look foolish with basic facts about the government shutdown. Dylan Douglas tried to go somewhere with this, but with Scott Jennings in his way, he had no chance. DOUGLAS: “Scott, with all respect, you cannot put on the American people that Democrats were the ones that were hurting people making this plight.” JENNINGS: “Who was casting the votes against opening the government, Democrats or Republicans?” DOUGLAS: “Who was wanting to—” JENNINGS: “No, no. Who was casting the votes?” DOUGLAS: “Scott, who was wanting to cut SNAP benefits?” JENNINGS: “Nobody. Republicans voted to fund SNAP 15 times.” DOUGLAS: “Who was playing up SNAP benefits after two courts ruled that it was unallowed?” JENNINGS: “Republicans voted to fund SNAP 15 times. Democrats voted to defund it 15 times. And we had to get eight to join us.” DOUGLAS: “Talk about the Affordable Health Care Act. Okay?” JENNINGS: “It’s terrible.” DOUGLAS: “Landmark legislation is not perfect.” JENNINGS: “That is an understatement.” DOUGLAS: “[Democrats] wanted a fight, but they found a fight that was worth fighting with—talking about the Affordable Health Care Act. People were with them. Democrats were leading in the polls. We won big on Tuesday.” JENNINGS: “That’s what it was for, right? It was for the election, right?” DOUGLAS: “Well, I think we should have kept going. What I don’t understand… [is] why we caved so soon when the American people seemed to be on—” JENNINGS: “Because the election ended. You just said it. It was for the election. Listen, the election ended, then you caved.”
