A brave Lebanese photo journalist who is still based in Nabatieh was able to capture at least one Merkava tank burning in the outskirts of Arnoun Castle, on the outskirts of Nabatieh region, after a failed Israeli invasion attempt from Yohmor village towards the strategic hill top. The resistance did announce earlier targeting 3 Merkava tanks with ATGMs, while Israeli evacuation helicopters were seen at least 3 times today evacuating Israeli casulaties from the battlefield. The blackout imposed on the area by the Israelis warning everyone for complete evacuation of entire South Lebanon and targeting cars on the roads lead to very few journalists able to access the area and report the situation. I added a video for the area for the audience to understand the location and geography of the scenes, where Arnoun castle sits on a hill top located 5 kms away from the borders, and is elevated 700 m above sea level and 300 meters above its outskirts. more than 200 Israeli airstrikes attacked the vilages in direct outskirts of Arnoun and Yohmor and Zawtar in the last 48 hours, with continuous artillery shelling. I was not able to reach there today after the road i usually take, Zefta, was warned and bombed. Yesterday, the same road witnessed an ugly attack against a truck loaded with horses, their owner was trying to evacuate them from his farm in Zefta village. These images coming from the frontline are very important as they dismantle the Israeli systematic psychological warfare on our people about an "easy invasion", and depict the reality on the ground they are facing despite all their unlimited fire power and unchalleged air superiority due to unconditional and open western support.

Cameron Smith says Augusta National is already pretty firm and he’s expecting it to be firm and fast at this week’s Masters: “I think the course is in great shape and it’s already pretty firm. It seems like the grass is really full. It’s always in good condition here but it seems like there’s just a little bit more grass. It’s just a little bit fuller and there’s no rain in the forecast so they can really do whatever they want. It’ll be firm and fast, I would assume.” He went on to talk about strategy in the firm conditions: “Just be smart and just play good golf. It’s a place where if you’re playing good you can be super aggressive and if you’re not playing great you’ve got to play really smart and kind of get to the positions where you can get it up and down. It’s the same for everyone though and everyone’s gonna do the same thing.” Cam Smith is still struggling over the last few years to reach the great form he showed in 2022 when he won The Players and The Open at St Andrews. I've been saying that China isn't just represented by huge cities like Beijing and Shanghai; we still have a vast population living in the countryside, and China's "Countryside Revitalisation" initiative is making remarkable strides and deserves your attention. Today a video of a village little girl showing off the little cake her grandmother ordered her online and had delivered to her village home in no time has gone viral online, with many Chinese netizens praising the efforts made by countless officials and cadres stationed in the villages to assist the villagers in overcoming poverty. In the video, the little girl told the audience that her grandmother got her a tiny cake for only 9.9 RMB, and that she can now order Mixue milk tea and other food and drink online, with fast and reliable delivery to her village. The girl then happily told the audience, "Comrade!" "Look what we have here." Quick food delivery in a rural area is not an easy feat. It would require the elderly have smartphones and know how to use all the apps, that the village has good roads that lead to the town or cities, that the internet coverage and electricity in the villages are sufficient, and that the delivery guy knows the roads and residents in the village (most likely the delivery guy himself is a villager, and the internet industry has provided villagers with more job opportunities), all of which are the outcome of China's decades-long program of “Countryside Revitalisation.” Here are some facts regarding China’s “Countryside Revitalisation” initiatives: 🔵 Broadband connectivity in all administrative villages in China has achieved 100%, while 4G and 5G network coverage rates are 99% and 90%, respectively. Rural broadband users climbed from 93.77 million in 2017 to 200 million in 2024. As of June 2025, China had 322 million rural internet users, with an internet penetration rate of 69.2% in rural areas, helping to close the urban-rural digital divide. Over the past few decades, China has constructed 337,800 integrated postal and logistics service stations at the village level. The country has also heavily promoted the "postal + rural e-commerce + agricultural specialties + farmers (cooperatives)" model. Meanwhile, the country's telemedicine service network has expanded beyond cities and counties to reach rural grassroots levels and communities, greatly enhancing the quality of life and productivity of rural residents. The use of digital technologies in rural production, such as smart farmland monitoring and livestock risk management, has expanded. The "Agricultural Affairs Helpline" app has assisted 1.06 million entities. 🔵 The Chinese grassroots officials are dispatched to the poor villages to help the residents by living and working alongside them. Their work performance in the village will be considered for future promotions. Every poor village would have a resident work team, as well as a designated official for each poor household. Upscale-A-Video: Temporal-Consistent Diffusion Model for Real-World Video Super-Resolution paper page: Text-based diffusion models have exhibited remarkable success in generation and editing, showing great promise for enhancing visual content with their generative prior. However, applying these models to video super-resolution remains challenging due to the high demands for output fidelity and temporal consistency, which is complicated by the inherent randomness in diffusion models. Our study introduces Upscale-A-Video, a text-guided latent diffusion framework for video upscaling. This framework ensures temporal coherence through two key mechanisms: locally, it integrates temporal layers into U-Net and VAE-Decoder, maintaining consistency within short sequences; globally, without training, a flow-guided recurrent latent propagation module is introduced to enhance overall video stability by propagating and fusing latent across the entire sequences. Thanks to the diffusion paradigm, our model also offers greater flexibility by allowing text prompts to guide texture creation and adjustable noise levels to balance restoration and generation, enabling a trade-off between fidelity and quality. Extensive experiments show that Upscale-A-Video surpasses existing methods in both synthetic and real-world benchmarks, as well as in AI-generated videos, showcasing impressive visual realism and temporal consistency.

Mike Dunleavy Jr. says the Warriors are looking for more scoring, better offensive punch, and to bring back some unrestricted free agents: “To be honest, getting Yaxel is a guy that we feel like can plug in and just fill a lot of gaps for us in our lineup. If you look at the players we have on our roster, here’s a guy that can play multiple positions, fit right in there at one of the toughest positions to guard in the league, and that’s not very readily available in the trade market or in free agency. So, not having to overly address that is key.
