This insane super slow motion video of Scottie Scheffler’s swing has my head spinning. The top position is madness. I never noticed just how insane his width is. His left arm actually bends a lot. The crazy right foot jump is still insane, but it comes later than you think. Basically nobody teaches this swing, but I don’t think you can. He has personal physical traits that make this all possible.

Scottie Scheffler ended his presser Tuesday with 5 minutes on fulfillment in competitive golf -- or lack thereof: "This is not the place to look for your satisfaction. This is something where you can have a great appreciation for and like a great amount of thankfulness for being able to do this. Like I said, it's literally one of the most fun things I can do in my entire life. I love being able to come out here and compete, but at the end of the day, it's not what satisfies me."

Scottie Scheffler’s golf swing is notable for his foot action, but has many things in common with the men who could be called the greatest of all time: 1) very neutral club face position throughout the swing, like all of those who could be called the best. (Not shut which is so in vogue) 2) his head is turned behind the ball at impact 3) drags his right for through impact like Ben Hogan did 4) early extension like Jack Nicklaus, and certainly not a lot of right side bend

Brooks Koepka says he’s “super excited” to be back competing against Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy on the PGA Tour. Speaking ahead of the Farmers Insurance Open, he said: “I’m super excited about it. “Obviously Scottie has been dominant. I guess is probably the right word. Rory’s got 5 now. I don’t think anybody’s shocked by this if you’ve watched golf the last few years and how well those guys are playing. I’m excited to battle with them. Si Woo Kim bogeyed the last for an 11 under par 60 yesterday while playing with world number 1 Scottie Scheffler. After the round, Scottie compared playing with someone on 59 watch to a “no hitter” in baseball: “I was joking there earlier, I felt like I was hitting all my shots to 15, 20 feet and Si Woo was hitting all his shots to like 8 feet or closer. “Yeah, it was fun to watch. I was glad for myself to be able to kind of stay in the tournament. I made some nice putts there on the back nine, but it's always fun to watch Si Woo do his thing.” “I definitely wasn't going to tell him anything about his round today as we were out there. I would say it would definitely be in poor taste to remind somebody they're on 59 watch.” Scottie shot a bogey free 63 to be 13 under for 2 rounds and tied second at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, 5 shots behind Si Woo.
