A majority of Scots voted 'Yes' to independence in 2014. The local election franchise meant that the vote was swung in favour of No by those who had no stake in Scotland: temporary residents, non-Scots, second-home owners, military personnel, etc. This is not widely known, internationally. #indyref2014 did not meet internationally recognised standards for a constitutional referendum ⬇️

While British students carry £50k debt like shackles and families choose between food and rent, Holyrood pays a foreign national £77k to exist here while he begs for cash. The SNP didn’t just open the door in 2020—they took it off the hinges. They deliberately changed the rules so non-citizens could stand for election. This was no accident. Try this in India, France, or America. You’d be in handcuffs and deported in 24 hours. In Scotland, they made it a career path. In October 2023, while Scottish families worked double shifts and rationed just to survive, this MSP publicly supported vandalizing posters of Israeli hostages. This isn't diversity, progress, or inclusion. It is institutional liquidation. This is a parliament so hollowed out and drained of purpose it can no longer protect its own citizens interests. Serious questions now surround newly elected Green MSP Q Manivannan and their compliance with student visa regulations. Immigration rules must apply equally to everyone, including politicians, which is why I’ve written to the Home Secretary calling for an immediate investigation. But, they were only able to stand because of changes made by the SNP in the last parliament. The Conservatives spoke out against this rule change at the time, and our concerns were ignored.
