Once I swallowed hot eggs an I didn't mean to an on ontop of tha I was in pain as o felt the burning sensation go all the way down to my stomach... not fun

You can, actually, stifle a sneeze if it wouldn't be convenient. Keep your mouth shut when it occurs and flex your neck muscles to minimize its impact.
