Yea that sucks but I’ve been using mine for so many years and do love it. Have a schedule set up and everything. I like the light strips the most. I installed one in my bathroom and it’s great for using in the middle of the night.

Most apps have become like this recently, and I’m not sure why. Have you tried setting up a new iOS device? There are like 15 steps to get to the home screen. I remember in older iphones you turned it on and immediately had “swipe to unlock” and were at the home screen.
