Did not apologise at all. Just started singing like a madman. I am not sure if the man is mentally stable. Really sad indeed. Christina Chang talked to Glamour about how Connor really ate the pasta during the dinner table scene on episode 6 of Heated Rivalry. "Sitting across from him…it was outrageous. It was Connor’s idea to eat like that, and he made a great choice. And you’re right, it does showcase his comedic abilities because he’s not winking at it in any way. He’s literally shoveling food into his mouth, but he understood it’s nuanced, and that in this totally serious scene while his boyfriend’s about to break down, he’s just like, Oh God, look at the family drama; it’s amazing. He did say to Jacob, 'You never see anybody eat in a scene. I’m going to eat in the scene.' Meanwhile, I always put something in my mouth and then it’s time for me to speak. So I’m always like, Ugh. But in that scene, when the cameras were on them, we couldn’t get through several takes. You can hear everybody laughing because Connor would have noodles hanging out of his mouth. Hi Crime Watch. Here is the CCTV footage I was referring to. City of Harare workers were confiscating goods at a nearby tuckshop and were beating and harassing citizens. When they thought my cousin was recording them committing a crime, they chased her into the yard to beat her and take her phone. They were unaware that we had CCTV cameras in the yard. These are the workers who pounced on her. The young man was running after their van to get his goods back, begging them. He had a valid licence. 🚨🚨🚨 Jacob Hurtubise appreciation post. He was a 39th round pick by the #Mariners in 2019 out of the United States Military Academy, but he decided to come back for his senior year. His senior season was wiped out by COVID after only 5 games. The #Reds signed him in July 2020. He was the first baseball player to receive a professional offer since the US Department of Defense endorsed a policy to allow service academy athletes to pursue professional sports after graduation. There has only been one Army player ever to reach the Majors. Guy has had an unreal year. He doesn’t hit for much power and he’s already 25 so doesn’t get much “prospect” attention, but what he’s doing is pretty impressive. In 83 games at AA .306/.443/.492/.945 23 XBH In 19 games at AAA .447/.574/.553/1.127 3 XBH Guy is getting on base 57% of the time since he’s been to AAA. That is incredible and a really cool story. #RedsMiLB

NEW: California teen with Columbine obsession attempted to replicate the 1999 tragedy at a public library, killing two. An 18-year-old identified as Bradley Scott Sayer opened fire inside the Butte County Library branch in Chico, California, on Monday, killing 46-year-old Jacob Hull and wounding a juvenile. According to Chico police, Sayer appeared to be carrying out a planned attack modeled after the Columbine High School massacre. He opened fire inside the library around 5:12 p.m. before attempting to flee out the back of the building. Responding officers had already established a perimeter and quickly detained Sayer without further gunfire. The juvenile victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

🏝️ Bali's trash burning problem has just reached new toxic heights This week, Bali's biggest landfill has been ordered to close. The landfill is a more than 35 meter high mountain of decaying trash covering 32 hectares. It's closed because the gases emanated from it are toxic and ground water is being contaminated This means there's no other landfill of this size near to accept Bali's current trash. So the government has instructed people that "household waste should be disposed of at home" which in Bali means burning it! Trash burning has been a tradition for centuries in Bali (and Indonesia), but it used be mostly organic matter that was being burned Once plastic arrived the tradition didn't change though and locals started burning plastic too, pumping toxic gases into the air causing massive spikes of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases The tradition means on a daily basis around 7 in the morning and 6 in the evening, your neighbours will be burning their trash, and if you're not lucky there's a construction site near which will burn even more but all day! Burning plastic means you emit dioxins and furans, some of the most potent human carcinogens that exist I have friends in Indonesia with family with lung cancer cases, it's a real thing. My fear with Bali has always been that the digital nomads there might not realize the slow danger creeping up on them. You get used to the trash burning and polluted air very quickly in Bali and it probably doesn't affect you over a year or so But if you're there for many years, it will in some way or the other! For a community that's so about fitness and health, air quality is weirdly a consideration mostly overlooked in Bali
