SDG&E’s new rate structure makes it more important than ever to understand how you use electricity and how adding a battery to your existing solar only system - or installing a solar + battery can help. Let one of our energy consultants detail all your options.

Elon Musk predicts that more than 90% of Earth's power will eventually come from solar with batteries "Satellites are just solar panels and a battery. That’s how all satellites work. With the Starlink satellite network, there’s 7,000 (now ~10K) satellites orbiting the Earth, and all they use is solar panels and a battery My prediction is, long-term, a majority of power on Earth - in fact, eventually it might be like 90% or more- will be solar panels with batteries That's my prediction. My predictions have a pretty good track record" Starlink already proves it works at massive scale in space

“Solar with battery backup is by far the most expensive power system out there.” Adam Creighton & Professor Ross McKitrick discuss the true cost of net zero and how those who push renewables rely on the phoney ‘levelised cost of electricity’ measurement to make wind & solar stack up. 📺 More:

Elon Musk: Here's what we need to have a fully sustainable energy economy. “There are three elements to a sustainable energy future. One is sustainable energy generation, which is primarily wind and solar. There's also hydro, geothermal. I'm actually pro-nuclear. I think nuclear is fine. But it's going to be primarily solar and wind as the primary generators of energy. The second part is you need batteries to store the solar and wind energy, because the sun doesn't shine all the time, the wind doesn't blow all the time. So it's a lot of stationary battery packs. And then you need electric transport. So electric cars, electric planes, boats. And ultimately we can have a fully sustainable energy economy. And it's those three things: solar/wind, stationary battery pack, electric vehicles. So then what are the limiting factors on progress? The limiting factor really will be battery cell production. So that's going to really be the fundamental rate driver.” Source: TED, April 14, 2022.

This young man made a video to explain how he uses his private solar energy system to sell Electricity to his neighbours and he makes money through this. I genuinely do not know if this is legal or illegal. I hope someone can help clarify. This video is shocking and surprising.

President Tinubu signed the revised Electricity Act in 2023, opening up the power sector by allowing individuals and businesses to generate and sell electricity. This young Nigerian seized the opportunity by installing a solar power system in his apartment and now sells electricity to his neighbors; a practical example of how policy reforms can create new business opportunities.

Just hit publish on a new guide! It's called "Variable mapping and design system structure" and you can grab it here: It's hopefully a way to provide some guidance on how to structure your variables and collections according to how your system is set up

NEWS: A massive new $450 million Tesla Megapack battery energy storage system is now operational in Victoria, Australia. It's the biggest completed battery project on Australia’s main grid, and one of largest battery projects in the world. It features 444 Tesla Megapacks and three Toshiba 500kV HV transformers, for a total of 600 megawatts of capacity and 1,600 megawatt hours of storage. It will soak up excess wind & solar power during the daytime and shift that energy to the evening peaks.

ELON MUSK: "The most obvious one is actually solar powered AI satellites, sort of to move the AI to orbit and essentially deep space over time, because there you can actually access over a billion times more energy from the sun in deep space than you can on Earth. The scaling to Kardashev, which is using some non trivial amount of energy from the sun. You kind of have to do space solar power. Like to even use a millionth of a percent of the sun's energy you you really have to be have your solar power in deep space."

The government is implementing a new system to take FULL control of your gold. It'll let you keep your gold while making it nearly impossible to convert or use. Here's how it works (tier 2 and 3 of the system explained):

How long will it take to travel to other worlds in the solar system on a commercial plane? Space is bigger than your brain wants to believe.
