Sean Duffy should prob stop tweeting for a while about NASA

When I met him before Crew-11 I thought he seemed like a super nice, sincere guy that spoke with credibility. Unfortunately recently it’s seemed more like he’s trying to get people hyped while behind the scenes there’s a disconnect between policy and public statements.

Exactly I don’t think he’s a bad person But he’s been thrown into something that honestly is too complicated to just waltz into and he has too much on his plate with Transportation

Sometimes, keeping humble and silent about things you don't know about is best.

Actually, his next post should be to endorse @rookisaacman as NASA administrator. He'll get props for statesmanship and he can direct his full attention to fixing the air traffic control system.

I don't feel bad for him. He's a grown man in real-world politics. He has a full time staff of advisors to boot. You can't write off failure on all fronts as pressure from Trump. Its incompetence. A red flag waving 'Dont make me Administrator of NASA' And the only person, literally the only person, in the world who wants @NASA to merge with @USDOT is Duffy.

Misinformation. I get that people are pissed that SpaceX isn't going to land a demo Starship on the moon in 2025 as they were contracted to do, but... The Trump administration's global vision of space development is one of pro-Western partners working together - not America Alone. There have been several communiques about this and technology sharing. For the head of NASA to congratulate our ally Japan is appropriate.

Where’s Gateway? The whole SLS program is a jobs program. It was way too complicated. It started with Bush, The Constellation Program but the solid booster stage was too dangerous, Obama cancelled it and added his flair with contractors and private development, Trump said “We’ll land on the Moon by 2024”, Biden slept, Gateway was swept under the rug, Elon development was slowed down from during Biden every time a rocket blew up, and it’s dumped in Duffy’s lap to fix it all. Jared was a great fit yet here we are. And this makes the Apollo program all the more amazing.
