Thought Brandon Ingram looked great for his first game in 10 months: - Mid range looked as good as it always has - Did a nice job creating contact (6-7 FT) - Really liked his cutting in this game and moving without the ball - I'll be intrigued with his PnR game when Jakob Poeltl comes back given Poeltl's solid screening - Will be a work in progress with him Scottie and RJ but overall a successful first game imo

The Yankees just traded for Max Schuemann. He has no pop in his bat, but his glove is nasty. Max had a 5 OAA at second, 4 at third, and one at shortstop in 2025. One thing about him at the plate that’s intriguing, though, is that he has a 16.4% k rate, 10.3% walk rate, and 18.8% chase rate. He’s an intriguing option if they don’t like Oswaldo Cabrera, who’s a little overrated defensively, and is a bad hitter, too.

This is nothing more than someone who’s still trying to compensate for his fragile self image and having a hard time trying to compensate for his unprocessed humiliation still hunting him from his childhood. Alex Vesia went scoreless again and has yet to give up a run in Spring Training. Of course, it's just 5.1 innings, but that's the sample size he's been given, and he's made the most of it. WHIP is just 0.56. Vesia, as much as Dodgers fans love and appreciate him, still doesn't get the credit he deserves, IMO. His ERA over the last 2 years has been 1.76 in 2024 and 3.02 in 2025. In 2021, it was 2.25 & in 2022 it was 2.15. Overall 2.92 ERA for his career, career average against of just 1.87, career WHIP of just 1.12. Dude has been a GREAT pitcher for quite a while now! #dodgers
