SECDEF's claim that media had unfettered Pentagon access is misleading. I was stationed there twice & saw firsthand media accessed hallways & cafeterias, not offices or classified areas with sensitive national security information. We must cherish freedom of the press & speech.

#WorldPressFreedomDay Being afforded Freedom of the Press does not necessarily mean that people must abuse that privilege, it must be taken together with responsibility. We would want to encourage media houses, our journalists together with generality of the citizens of Zimbabwe to be responsible so that the Information that is circulated or disseminated unites the people and not to divide the people.
