The entire stretch is completely broken, riddled with deep potholes, muddy patches, and craters big enough to swallow a scooter. We keep hearing tall claims about “Brand Bengaluru” and the city’s transformation under the current leadership, yet basic infrastructure like roads continues to remain neglected for weeks at a time. A practical solution would be to stop these buses from making U-turns at Jeevika Hospital and instead divert them via the service road onto the Marathahalli bridge, continuing towards Kunhalli. Such a small change in traffic management could significantly reduce jams, improve commuter experience, and make daily travel less stressful for thousands of motorists. The entire stretch turned into what looked more like a swimming pool than one of the city’s busiest junctions. Even the newly constructed metro station area was completely waterlogged, raising serious concerns about Bengaluru’s infrastructure and drainage planning. Vehicles were struggling to move through the flooded roads while commuters were left stranded in traffic chaos. Despite massive development projects and ongoing metro construction, the city continues to face the same flooding issues every monsoon. 📍 Vega City, Bannerghatta Road Take a look at the condition of this road. At first glance, it may appear to be a normal black patch, but in reality, the surface is completely damaged, filled with loose stones, mud, uneven patches, and crater-like potholes. This has turned what should be a safe public road into a serious hazard for commuters. The question every taxpayer is asking is: where is the tax money going? Citizens pay road tax, property tax, fuel tax, and various other charges, yet basic road infrastructure continues to deteriorate. Under Congress, India’s tech capital, Bengaluru, is crumbling. Just see the video below. This the state of the road leading upto a prominent school in the city - Sri Kumaran Children’s Home. Thousands of young schoolchildren use this road everyday. This is pretty much the state of most of the roads in Bengaluru. The situation is so bad and authorities are so callous that despite the school requesting the authorities to fix it, they haven’t. Now the school has requested parents to also write to municipal authorities in the hope that their collective voice may be heard and the road may be fixed.
